1914 BELGIAN/FRENCH SHARPNEL TRENCH ART ORANATELY ILLUSTRATED 11” X 6” VERY GOOD CONDITION
Ornate illustrated shrapnel of a Belgian or French soldier’s portrait within a motif of flowers above a lion standing on a rock above a spear with a shield marked “LUG”.
The bottom of the piece reads “Gaston Adam” (presumably the name of the soldier), “Sergent Auier Chassevr, Boncellus Apied 1914.”
The shrapnel measures approximately 11” high and 6” wide.
The shrapnel has been modified on the reverse to allow it to be stood upright.
The piece itself is heavy weighing approximately 10 pounds.

There is an inspection period of 14 days in which the buyer may return the item (buyer pays shipping & insurance for return) after receipt.
The item(s) must be received in the same condition as sent.
The amount of the original purchase price will then be refunded.
