Description
1918 French safety leaflet produced for distribution during World War I (WWI). It is focused on Paris, and it seems to explain various places of shelter, given the potential for wartime events. Keep in mind that this was the time of mustard gas and that the German army was active in Belgium and other areas just east of Paris. The document measures 8" by 5", and it is printed on a pale bluish-gray paper. It is in overall good condition for being more than a century old, but is does show a few light folds, a bit of light staining, and a tiny bit of missing corner at bottom left (see photo). It is a Very Fine piece ready to enhance any collection of French of WWI-era history.
