Description

Antique French M1874 Rifle Bayonet measuring 25-1/2" long overall with a blade length of 20-1/2". Blade in very good condition showing light wear, use, scratches Ricasso area of blade marked, with cartouches, Spine of blade marked with St. Etienne Arsenal and a 1878 date. Good working press-stud ejector, brass muted pommed with nice wood grips. The scabbard shows 4 small dings on the back and 4 on the front. This has caused the scabbard to be a little bent in the center area. Non-matching s/n#. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
