THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE PITCHER WAS FIRED .....A BUYER OF THIS HISTORIC PITCHER WOULD KNOW IT'S EXTREMELY RARE.... IT'S 8 1/4 INCH WIDE FROM SPOUT TO HANDLE TOP , AND  9 1/8 INCHES HIGH.... "Buffalo pottery was made in Buffalo, New York, after 1902. The company was established by the Larkin Company, famous manufacturers of soap. The wares are marked with a picture of a buffalo and the date of manufacture. Deldare ware is the most famous pottery made at the factory and bears hand-painted transfer designs".
