  • Condition: Bottle is in excellent physical condition for it's age! Body is covered in a mild rainbow patina. It could use a light cleaning and has a very small faint internal crack in the neck that does not meet any edge of the bottle and can't be felt to the touch

    Description

    Up for sale is this beautiful rare antique French apothecary bottle marked "Eau Des Carmes, Boyer". The bottle has a mild rainbow patina from age and is in excellent condition. The only flaw besides a little griminess, which could easily be cleaned off, is it has a very small internal crack in the neck that does not meet any edge of the bottle and can't be felt to the touch (see second to last photo).
    I couldn't say exactly when this bottle was produced, but based on the research I've done and it's appearance I'd say some time in the mid to late 1800s.
    All in all a beautiful piece to add to your collection.
    Measures a little more than 6" tall and 1" wide. Volume is a little less than 2oz.
