    Description

    Restored Sheaffer
    EXCELLENT Pastel Blue Snorkel Clipper
    RARE Left Oblique Broad Nib
    Length capped - 5 1/2"
Point - rare left oblique broad palladium silver nib
This Snorkel Clipper has a rare left oblique broad point nib.
Sheaffer's White Dot Clipper features a stainless steel cap with gold-filled trim and a palladium silver Triumph nib (80% palladium, 20% silver). Palladium silver is precious metal that Sheaffer began using in 1933 for the masks on premium gold nibs because of its excellent ink-flow properties. Modern fountain pens with palladium silver nibs sell for about the same price as comparable models with 18k gold nibs.
Those who are attracted to gold nibs for gold's inherent value as a precious metal should be aware that while gold today sells for about 25 per ounce, palladium sells for about 50 per ounce.
I will include a photocopy of an original Sheaffer's Snorkel instructions leaflet.
    All restorations include
    disassembly, cleaning,

and producing multiple writing samples over 2 days (like the one in the photo).
I guarantee the pens I restore write smoothly and fill as designed.
