Being a WWI collector, primarily medical theme; I lived in France for several years and  found many interesting WWI era pieces both medical and general military.
Up for auction is a very interesting, sad, and original   WWI  French piece. It is a locket containing a lock of a French soldier's hair. It is encased under glass with "1914-1915" embossed in metal.
I lived in France for many years and am an avid collector of primarily vintage medical theme toy soldiers as well as various WWI pieces. I am starting to slowly thin out my collection.
